Inclinations to red teaming and blue teaming...

I bought practical packet analysis by Chris Sanders 2nd edition for cheap.

Blue steaming doesn't inspire me as much as it used to.

It's frivolous. As red teamers have it a lot easier than blue teaming, computers are currently at a stage of evolution whereby the scene is offensive capabilities, hopefully this will change soon, but for now it's best to assess your own threat model and act accordingly.

It doesn't inspire me due to the fact that malware is a lot easier to write in terms of lines of code than seeking to build up a system to defend against malware.

Generally I believe red teamers and pentesting folk are in league with the devil or demons - as this is referred in the occult as left hand path whereby you focus on the self and no not help others...

I am on the right hand path of helping others, and generally I advise to use the current most popular operating system if you value your own lives of Windows 11 because Linux currently is inferior security wise.

Malware analysis doesn't inspire me equally, although I have read a little from a certain book on the topic and it is advanced skills required in terms of computer knowledge to really get good at directing malware.

I wish to change this blog into a journey of learning to program with Rust, a memory safe language that is superior to C and C++.
